A board that is kind to the knife and can go in the dishwasher. It's not a full replacement for an end grain wood board, but it's close. Smells and hygiene conscious chopping? Yes.

Beautiful fit and finish overall. Height right at 65 mm for that knuckle clearance and bench scraper/scooper functionality. The knife came pretty sharp but needed a few passes on a leather strop. Balance point right at my pinch grip which is just perfect for my use. The knife has good heft and very stiff blade, more on the workhorsey side.

Amazing delivery. They also go into the smallest details, like writing a note for each person and putting a band-aid on them if you don't know how to use a knife. Except for the taxes, which I didn't know would be so high, everything is amazing.

I was skeptical about carbon steel knives, but god i was wrong. I love the weight of it. It has a will on its own, it doesn't want you to press or put force into cutting, it just wants to slide. I've cut the thinnest raddish slice in my life. Very easy to maintain, you just follow their instructions and it will be all good, no stains no rust. It's my first real japanese knife and i'm glad i chose this one. It also looks badass!
It arrived in two working days!
Everything of this knife Is super, from Blade to handle! Highly reccomended, as Sharpedge of course!
